Simply put, the tanner's table is where cured animal skins are transformed into useable products including shoes, belts, and scabbards or further treated, layered, and hardened as part of the armourcraft process. The rest were toilers, without armor save for shirts of toughened leather, but they were brawny stalwarts, and skilled in the use of their hunting bows.
